Integra5 Converged Services Demonstrated in Cisco CEO’s TelecomNEXT Keynote

Integra5’s TV-based Picture Caller ID and Voicemail services provide real life examples of Cisco’s Service Exchange Framework for delivering personalized, multi-media services

LAS VEGAS – March 21, 2006 – Integra5, the pioneer in personalized IP content and converged communications, today announced that John Chambers, president and CEO of Cisco Systems, demonstrated two converged services featuring Integra5’s i5 Service Delivery Platform (SDP) during his keynote speech at TelecomNEXT. Picture Caller ID displayed the picture, name and phone number of an incoming call and TV Voicemail enabled the playback of a voicemail message through the TV.

In a speech this morning to conference attendees, Chambers shared his views on how the convergence of data, voice, video and mobility are driving unique converged services opportunities for service providers as part of their evolution to IP-based Next Generation Networks (IP NGNs). Deployed with multiple service providers today, Integra5’s TV-based Picture Caller ID and TV Voicemail services enable Cisco to demonstrate the benefits of the Cisco Service Exchange Framework, an open, standards-based approach for delivering a rich variety of both IMS and non-IMS services to a wide range of devices over multiple access technologies.

“In today’s competitive triple- and quad-play market, service providers need a flexible and intelligent service layer to enable them to ‘blend the bundle’ into personalized, converged services,” said Meredith Flynn-Ripley, EVP of marketing and sales for Integra5. “We echo Cisco’s focus on creating a rich service delivery environment in hybrid IMS networks through its open Service Exchange Framework, as it results in a platform that can quickly and efficiently deliver innovative converged services for competitive differentiation, increased revenue and subscriber loyalty.”

A converged services market leader, the i5 SDP has been commercially deployed with seven telco, cable and e-Telecomm providers since mid-2004.

On the exhibit floor, Integra5 also has a live demonstration of the i5 SDP in the TelecomNEXT Content Pavilion (booth 305), which features tools for local content creation, innovative content samples from service providers and representatives from cutting-edge content channels. The Content Pavilion is organized by Viodi, a leading provider of information and content acquisition services for the iTV and VOD efforts of independent telcos.

About the i5 Service Delivery Platform (SDP)

The modular, IMS-future proof i5 SDP features patented technology that seamlessly fuses voice, video, data and wireless services into new consumer applications that combine IP content, converged communications and presence functionality. The network-based architecture scales to support up to millions of subscribers, requires no truck rolls or new equipment in subscriber homes, and supports multiple set-top boxes, PCs and telephone lines (wireline and wireless) per household.

Once deployed, the i5 SDP – using its distributed telephony, content and transmission servers – recognizes incoming phone calls, voicemails, SMS text messages, e-mails, web-based audio, video and other content, and creates new services by coordinating all the real-time protocol signals and IP content and delivering them to the appropriate subscriber’s TVs, PCs and Windows-based mobile phones.

TelecomNEXT is taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 19-23, 2006. For more information on TelecomNEXT, go to www.telecom-next.com.
