Integra5 Appoints Ed Perry as Vice President of Sales
Top Service Provider Sales Executive Joins Integra5 amid Increasing Demand for i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform
BURLINGTON, Mass., – April 24, 2006 – Integra5 Communications, the pioneer in personalized IP content and converged communications, today announced that Ed Perry has been appointed vice president of sales. Perry will be responsible for developing and implementing Integra5’s sales strategy across cable, telco and Internet portal service provider markets in North America.
Perry has over twenty-five years of experience in business consulting and sales management. Prior to joining Integra5, he was most recently at Telution Inc., which was acquired by CSG Systems, one of the largest providers of cable TV Operations Support Systems (OSS). He was Telution’s leading revenue producer and the first to sell the company’s OSS system, COMX, a comprehensive suite of customer, order, and service request management and billing applications, to the cable TV industry.
“This is a particularly exciting time for Integra5 as the market is finally starting to recognize and deliver on the promise of converged IP content and services,” said Meredith Flynn-Ripley, chief operating officer at Integra5. “With Ed’s strong history of success selling to both cable and telco providers, I’m confident that he will leverage our industry momentum to further extend Integra5’s presence in the service provider community.”
Prior to Telution, Perry was a key sales executive for Kenan Systems, closing multi-million dollar deals in the US, Canada, Latin America and Australia, and directly contributing to the company's growth from a small consulting firm to a major software company, which was sold to Lucent for $1.5 Billion. Perry has also held sales and management consulting positions at Oracle Corporation, Robert Bell & Co., and Touche Ross & Co.
“Integra5 is a pioneer in the development of cross-platform, converged services for voice, video and data service providers with their i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform,” said Perry. “I’m looking forward to helping Integra5 expand its rapidly growing customer base and our clients enhance their service offerings, revenue growth and consumer loyalty.”
Integra5 is helping customers, including Knology, Everest, Comporium, Hargray, Foothills Telephone Cooperative, and more, deliver Caller ID for TV, voicemail management and other converged solutions through the i5 Converged SDP in cable, broadband and IPTV environments.
