Integra5’s i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform Honored in Broadband Gear Report’s Annual Technology Awards by Judges from Major MSOs

Innovative Converged Communications and Content Platform Recognized in Next-Gen Voice Category for Features and Performance that “Set it Apart”

BURLINGTON, Mass., – May 17, 2006 – Integra5 Communications, the pioneer in blending quad play service bundles by personalizing and converging real-time communications with subscriber-selected content, today announced that its i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform has been awarded 3.5 out of 5 diamonds in Broadband Gear Report’s second annual Diamond Technology Reviews.

The Diamond Technology Reviews recognize leading products, software and services that help cable and broadband providers increase the reliability, efficiency and capacity of their HFC networks to improve profitability and overall customer satisfaction. The judging was conducted by a panel of senior technology executives from major MSOs, including Bright House, Charter, Comcast and Time Warner Cable.

"The Diamond Technology Reviews judges were impressed by the ability of the Integra5 platform to offer cross-platform capabilities today within an IP-capable communications network," said Laura Hamilton, vice president and editor-in-chief at Broadband Gear Report. "Our panel was frank in its product assessments, and Integra5 Äôs score is very solid."

The IMS-compatible i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform enables service providers to quickly deliver converged communications and content to any IP device using pre-packaged applications, such as caller ID and voicemail notifications to TVs and PCs. The platform also empowers subscribers to personalize these services using pictures, colors and text, and manage the way they are delivered across multiple devices. The i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform’s standards-based, distributed architecture can scale to support up to millions of subscribers and has the processing performance required for real-time delivery and management of signals and information between data, telephone (public switched and IP), cable TV (traditional and IPTV) and cellular networks.

"The Diamond Technology Reviews were started as a way for key MSO executives to identify the "must see" products at SCTE, so it is a tremendous industry honor to have the i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform selected," said Meredith Flynn-Ripley, chief operating officer at Integra5. "This award, along with our numerous customer deployments, is further evidence that converged services have quickly become a top priority for operators looking to drive ARPU and increase subscriber value by enhancing service bundles."

The Diamond Technology Reviews will be previewed in a pre-show issue of Broadband Gear Report and the full results will be published in a special print issue to be distributed at SCTE’s Cable-Tec Expo 2006, which is being held June 20-23 in Denver, Colo. The i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform will be showcased in multiple SCTE booths, including Cedar Point (#1675), Cisco (#1045), Nortel (#790), Scientific-Atlanta (#1681) and Siemens (#201).

The i5 Converged Service Delivery Platform has been commercially deployed with multiple service providers since mid-2004, including Knology, Everest, Comporium, Hargray, and Foothills Telephone Cooperative, among others.
