Integra5 Further Strengthens Latin American Presence with ATI Reseller Partnership
Leading systems integrator will deliver i5 Converged Services Platform to telecom and cable operators throughout Latin America
BURLINGTON, Mass. – December 12, 2007 – Integra5, the pioneer in blending quad play bundles into converged services for simultaneous delivery across TVs and PCs, today announced a partnership with American Telecommunication Holdings S.A. (ATI), a Chile-based solutions provider of advanced telecommunications systems and services. Through this partnership, ATI will deliver Integra5’s Converged Services Platform (i5 CSP) applications including TV/PC Caller ID, SMS to TV, Customer Care Messaging to TV/PC and Voicemail through the TV.
Founded in 1980, ATI has offices in 12 Latin American countries, as well as in Italy and Spain. The company, a leading systems integrator specializing in telecommunications, offers consulting, project management, integration and 24x7 support services to its customers – some of whom include Telefonica, Movistar, Telmex, America Movil and Milicom.
This recent agreement authorizes ATI to resell the i5 CSP and the entire suite of associated Integra5 applications, along with ATI’s own implementation and integration services. The partnership will accelerate the time to market for converged services throughout Latin America, providing operators with a highly scalable, flexible solution for deploying these popular, revenue-generating products.
After a thorough analysis of market opportunities, ATI is engaging in discussions with service providers throughout the region, including operators in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico.
“Market conditions are ripe for the introduction of converged services into the areas we serve,” said Jorge Gana, ATI’s vice president of strategic planning and alliances. “We are thrilled to partner with Integra5 to provide these innovative, value-added services to our service provider customers. As area operators continue to offer bundled services and invest in converged networks, we are poised to offer them a turnkey solution that reduces churn, boosts revenues and provides competitive differentiation.”
The i5 CSP’s distributed, network-based architecture requires no truck rolls or new in-home hardware and scales to support millions of subscribers. The standards-based platform enables the delivery of real-time converged communications and content across voice, video, data and wireless services over IPTV, cable and hybrid networks. In addition, the i5 CSP provides application-level personalization across multiple set-top boxes, PCs and telephone lines within the home.
“We are excited to expand our current Latin American presence with the addition of another experienced channel partner,” said Integra5 CEO Meredith Flynn-Ripley. “We look forward to working with ATI to bring the proven benefits of converged services to area operators looking to be market leaders.”
