Integra5 to Showcase i5 Converged Services Platform in Partner Booths at NCTA's The Cable Show
See SMS to TV, TV/PC Message Waiting Indication and Caller ID proven revenue-generating applications for service providers worldwide
BURLINGTON, Mass. April 23, 2007 Integra5, the pioneer in enabling cable and IPTV service providers to blend quad play bundles into converged services for delivery to multiple devices, today announced that it will showcase select applications, including SMS to TV, and TV/PC Message Waiting and Caller ID, in the Cisco Systems and Sprint Nextel booths at NCTA’s The Cable Show, May 7-9 in Las Vegas.
- Cisco Systems Booth 2044
- Sprint Nextel Booth 3675
Powered by the award winning i5 Converged Services Platform (CSP), Integra5 pre-packaged applications blend features from basic services voice, video, data and wireless into new cross-platform services that can be delivered to any device. With the i5 CSP, service providers are able to bridge previously separate cable, telephony and wireless networks to offer exciting new revenue generating applications so that subscribers can enjoy real-time content and communications on the device of their choice.
- SMS to TV allows wireless users to send text messages from their cell phones to a subscriber’s landline phone. The text message is displayed on the TV, and the subscriber can use the remote control to reply to the message or to trigger a “click to call” response, initiating a call between the home landline phone and the cell phone that sent the text message.
- TV/PC Message Waiting Indication alerts subscribers to who left a message while they were out.
- TV/PC Caller ID presents incoming call information on a television or PC before the phone even rings. Subscribers can answer the phone or divert the call to voicemail with a click of the remote.
Deployed in cable and IPTV networks since 2004, the i5 CSP and accompanying applications are proven to significantly improve the uptake and retention of bundled services, resulting in increased revenue and subscriber “stickiness.”
