Integra5's PC Caller ID Application Honored in Broadband Gear Report's Annual Diamond Technology Reviews by Judges from Major MSOs

i5 Converged Services Platform delivers customizable caller ID services to PCs

WOBURN, Mass., — June 23, 2008 — Integra5, the leader in blending triple and quad play bundles into new communications experiences that span TVs, PCs and landline and mobile phones, today announced that its PC Caller ID application has been recognized in Broadband Gear Report’s fourth annual Diamond Technology Reviews, marking the third consecutive year Integra5 has received such recognition.

The Diamond Technology Reviews recognize leading products, software and services that help cable and broadband providers increase the reliability, efficiency and capacity of their Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) networks to improve profitability and overall customer satisfaction. The judging was conducted by a panel of senior technology executives from major MSOs, including Bresnan, Charter, Suddenlink, Sunflower Broadband and Time Warner Cable.

“Integra5's PC Caller ID solution received solid marks from the Diamond Technology Reviews judges for its ability to bring total convergence closer to the home, while providing a viable revenue opportunity for cable operators,” said Laura Hamilton, editor-in-chief at BGR.

PC Caller ID builds on the loyalty- and ARPU-boosting success of early converged services, which have accelerated both operator and consumer demand for additional applications that reach all devices in the home. Launched with numerous operators, including Comporium and Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, Inc., i5’s PC Caller ID delivers notifications of an incoming caller’s name and number to a subscriber’s PC screen before the phone rings.

The i5 Converged Services Platform (i5 CSP), which powers PC Caller ID, allows subscribers to control, manage and personalize incoming calls by: choosing to ignore a call or divert it to voicemail with the click of a button; managing which PCs in the home receive the service; adding pictures, nicknames, fonts and colors to PC Caller ID notifications; setting notification “tones”; and viewing a PC Call Log, which lists names, numbers, dates and times associated with incoming calls. The flexibility of the i5 CSP also lets operators deliver PC Caller ID notifications within both Mac and Windows desktop environments via subscribers’ Instant Messaging clients or the lightweight i5PC client.

“This industry recognition from BGR underscores the value of converged services in helping operators transcend price wars by differentiating their services with innovative applications,” said Gene Lew, vice president of products and strategy at Integra5. “PC Caller ID is yet another extension of our converged services portfolio, which helps operators provide choice and flexibility to their end customers by delivering unique communications services across multiple phones, TVs and PCs.”

Products from the Diamond Technology Reviews that received a rating of 3 or higher —  including i5’s PC Caller ID application — are considered outstanding and will be featured in the June 19 issue of Broadband Gear Report, as well asa special print issue to be distributed at SCTE’s Cable-Tec Expo 2008, June 24 – 27, in Philadelphia.
